Use the good stuff

Somebody made a post to the idea of using your fine china. (They applied it to stickers that eventually lose their stickiness, if you don't use them.)

I replied:

There's an old hymn that starts:

Earth holds no treasures but perish with using, However precious they be;

Maybe it needs to be amended. Treasures also perish without using.

¶ Somebody else quoted from an old CIA manual, the “Simple Sabotage Field Manual”, “Hold conferences when there is more critical work to be done.” The devil's similar manual says, “Hold lectureships for the brethren when there is more critical work to be done.”

¶ People say the Fediverse is friendly. Don't you believe it.
