Three things, among the many, that I'm grateful to God for:

1. Daughter is better after a bad night;
2. Good rest the last several nights after long and stressful days;
3. Coffee, tea, and other fine beverages to enliven the mind and body.

¶ My meditative text recently was Matthew 6.11. It cures many a mind and heart's ills.

¶ Psalms 37 and 73 treat similar themes. Remember that. (Notice the switched numbers?)

¶ God is good. I'm grateful. That is all.

¶ Yesterday, I used a new copy of the Bible, and a new version. Worked well. Not sure if I'll stick with this one or the other one. The decision to leave the one I've used for 30+ years is just about set in stone.

¶ In a single day two brothers in Christ, in different states, asked about separate events with questionable speakers. Many of our people, not a few of whom occupy key functions, seem to have lost the criteria for the nature of the gospel.
