The Updated Willamette Valley Wine Guide

By the time this lands in your inbox, I’m hopefully sleeping off a whole lot of bubbles.

Last night was Dose, Method Oregon’s annual celebration of Oregon sparkling wine. If you were there with me, I hope we clinked glasses at some point. And if not, don’t worry—we’ll do a proper recap next week once I’ve recovered and gathered my thoughts.

But in the spirit of celebrating Oregon bubbles this weekend, I wanted to share something special for this very moment: my expanded Willamette Valley Wine Guide.

I first put this guide together last year as a collection of favorite wineries, restaurants, hotels, and experiences to recommend when people asked where to go in Oregon wine country. Since then, I’ve wanted to add to it and, inspired by Dose, Method Oregon, and my last few trips to Champagne, I’ve just added a page devoted entirely to Oregon sparkling wine.

I’ve also refreshed winery recommendations, updated restaurants and hotels, and added a few new favorite stops along the way. My hope is that whether you’re actively planning a visit or simply dreaming about one, this becomes something you save, share, and come back to whenever someone asks, “Where should we go?”

Inside you’ll find:

I built it because I genuinely love this region where I grew up and get to call home. And I am constantly inspired by the intrepid, highly talented people who make wine here. If this guide helps introduce you to a few new favorite producers and bottles along the way, then it’s done exactly what I hoped it would.
