Dear Friends,
I’m writing this note from the lobby of the convention center here in Pittsburgh, where I’ll be signing galleys of my next Golden Girls mystery for all the wonderful booksellers attending the American Booksellers Association’s Winter Institute (an event I’ve always wanted attend—and now it’s right here, in my own backyard)!
Before I forget:
Death on the Lanai: A Golden Girls Cozy Mystery (Book 2) will be on sale on June 2nd, 2026 - and is now available preorder in print, ebook, and audio!
The galley is also available to request on Netgalley!
The ebook of Nothing Bad Happens Here (my Young Adult thriller) is on sale TODAY, Wednesday, February 25! You can pick it up for under two books where ebooks are sold, should you be so inclined :)
Also today (February 25): If you’re a bookseller attending Winter Institute in Pittsburgh, I’ll be signing copies of Death on the Lanai at the Evening Author Reception at 5:30-7:00pm and I hope to meet you there!
I’ve been meaning to write more frequently—I have about ten half-finished emails in my drafts folder… and so many more Golden Girls updates that I can’t wait to share over the coming months (spoiler alert: book three is in the works!). But after being on deadline over Thanksgiving and Christmas, I decided to unglue my eyes from my computer and spent the last month reading manuscripts and exploring beautiful Savannah, Georgia, “The Hostess City of the South”.
I’ll be sharing more joyful chaos when I’m not on convention center WiFi… but in the meantime, here are a couple of quick pics from my camera roll: 1) With Kevin Wilson at the Savannah Book Festival (author of one of my favorite recent reads, Nothing to See Here); 2) with one of the hundreds of alligators in the Savannah Wildlife Refuge; 3) Catching some rays with Nick and the girls on Tybee Island; 4) Chaely chaely-ing in Forsyth Park; 5) my new favorite iced coffee, courtesy of the absolute artists at Pour Boy; 6) matching beneath the oaks; 7-8) Signing copies at B&Ns on our drive; 9) and a camellia just because :)
More from me soon, but until then…
Thank you for being a friend!
