Does anybody have any suggestions for a light 180 awning for use with a GFC? We've been using a reasonably light OVS 8ft x 8ft straight-pull for a few years, but we'd like a bit more coverage and the ease of use of a free-standing awning (with optional poles and tiedowns, of course). I have the ac hoses venting to the space between the shell and the cab but there isn’t much clearance so I want to vent them to the roof to get better air flow, but don’t want to let rain get into the hose. Gonna be camping out of the truck bed for about a month around the Milwaukee area of Portland. Where are some ok places to park and sleep? Is Planet Fitness or Walmart alright if I'm not loud about it? Do y'all generally ask managers at truck stops if it's ok to sleep for the night, or do you just do it?
