a simple craft to get me out of a creative rut

Question about best felt for crafting

Hi all, I make amigurumi plushies and use felt for details. I've noticed that some of the felt (particularly the black pieces) picks up lint really easily. Once the plushies have been played with for a while by my nephew, the black pieces all get a ring of grey on them that I keep having to pick off lol. Made this lil dude for my GF in psychiatric hospital

I spent around 11 hours of occupational therapy cutting out little paper pieces, folding the edges, glueing them together and painting everything.
