our state is proposing extending bear hunting season into mid December
i am writing a letter to our state commission during a comment period to oppose a proposed extension of bear hunting season which usually ends Nov 22 to go another 3+ weeks to Dec 15. aside from the cruelty of hunting bears in general, it is clearly unethical and ecologically disruptive to allow hunting into denning season. it's hard to find information on this subject. i could use some resources…

Can someone tell me if this a grizzly bear or not?
