It’s a rare weekend spent at the coast without howling wind, grey, and rain. Ok, there was still wind, but sometimes there wasn’t and it was sunny! Reed, Tepals, and I spent the weekend at Sou’wester celebrating our anniversary (11 years!).
We had many beach walks.
And we spent cozy time in our trailer, named Jet. We ate the Kaitlyn special for our dinners in, bean salad and Costco roti chicken. We listened to records from the Sou’wester’s record library. We read, we drew logos for a future business, we drank coffee.
Not photographed: we drove around and saw the cranberry bogs, ate clam chowder at my favorite Oysterville spot, went to a show in the living room at Sou’wester, visited Ilwaco Ceramics, had fish & chips, bought fish at Tre-Fin, bought records at Lonely Crab.
And to wrap up our weekend, we drove on the beach—a thing that is allowed in the off season, I guess. Here’s my car on the beach and Reed.
