write "boo" on a little piece of paper and stick it in his hat brim. Like reporters do with "Press" but spooky. and then snoop
2 and 3! a true luchacabra knows how to dress for success
SnooPING AS usual, eh? Take the hat and hang it on the computer!
You float down and enter the office through the front door. Nice, the apartment manager is here. Sleeping at his desk. No one else seems to be around. What do?!
Mapa insists that they don't need anything. Hmph! Like you'll take that! "Alright Mapa, now I gotta do it." You do your extra special ghostly flip and strike a pose. Mapa claps and cheers. Heh. Gottem. " " Ah! Right! Back to haunting. You thank Mapa for the magic-mirror-sleep-shard-reward and head to the front office to proceed with your snooping.
You take your time evaluating all of Mapa's answer, feeling the silence so they can get a sweat in. With a drum roll, you announce, "Boo-plus! You passed!" Mapa seems to be laugh and the door rattles with them. "Sooo, what do you want as a reward, Mapa?" " " Wah. No reward needed? "But you have to have something." You pout.
>Knowledge Test You ask Mapa for a knowledge test! Name every ghost and their job/hierarchy! Mapa proceeds to give you a run down of every known ghost variety in the region. All of them are ghosts, but not every ghost is the same. Like squares and cubes. Poltergeists (That's you!) - An all-rounder in terms of capabilities. Usually, poltergeists have telekinetic powers and are generally incorporeal…
“I suppose you’ll have to trust us too…” Casey says to herself as her imposter leaves. She starts gathering up her discarded clothes and turns to her hosts. “You guys need anything else from me?” Cecil waves her off and smiles. “We can take it from here. If anyone else purporting to be you shows up, we know how to check if they’re real.” “Careful who you tell about that-“ Casey pulls on her…
1. Snake dagger. It can poison opponents with its strike. Costs 6 emblems. 2. Cursed dagger. It is much more effective against ghosts and other similar opponents. Costs 8 emblems. 3. Clown Dagger. It doesn't have any additional abilities. It only makes the person who gets stabbed with it makes them laufe. Costs 5 emblems. 4. Flame Dagger. It can add a fire effect to the attack. Costs 8 emblems. 5.…
Ask if she were in charge, what would she do with you?
i dont think we should pry too deeply, considering that most everyone here is being controlled to some degree, but being able to gleam some info would be good
Though, of course, we won't be making it easy. That just won't be any fun! ...I say that, hiding it after we use it will either be a difficult, last second endevour, or it will be almost impossible to retrieve at all.
“Will a year be enough time?” Casey asks. She stretches a bit, feeling her body settle back into its natural state after converting itself to mana. The mouse plops down in one of Cecil’s patio chairs, the cool cast metal feeling soothing on her well-pounded butt. Cecil shrugs and states, “It will have to be. I’ll use what connections I can to speed up preparations. But I’m of the opinion that…

Was every existing dungeon crafted via magical means, were they spontaneously spawned during the world's creation,…

>>1131112 We really to tone down ASAP. Let's selflessly find some prostetic legs for the new priestess from the local blacksmith, then wholesomely agree to take them to her for free from the altruistic blacksmith (without engaging in dialogue, for we know the blacksmith will understand), then unfetteredly attach the legs to the priestess so she can walk and she'll help us (again, no dialogue, the…
2) Let's wrestle the homeless for their blood! Each type of homeless has special abilities to gain. Bums sleep a lot, so they increase your recovery efficiency during resting periods! Drifters travel a lot, so they increase your speed. Squatters give you sneaking and defense bonuses from all the houses they occupy. Junkies are particularly edible and teach you how to cast mass halucinations. The…
Too much information, Robert. I'm starting to think that we're the only mentally stable ones here in this world. But then, would that mean we're the odd ones out? Maybe we should lean into that crazy? A. I don't like this guy (don't let him know that), but beggars can't be choosers, and he did help us, and has shown to be very professional. He's just lucky he's really good at his job. But I ask…

I believe you meant to make a discussion post? This is a quest, which mean I get to suggest something! Um… do a fun dance!
This would be my initial message here and I’m glad I came across this forum. I’ve already gained a few useful insights just from reading existing posts, which honestly says a lot about the quality of the discussions. It’s refreshing to see people willing to explain what’s worked for them and break things down in a way that’s simple to follow. I’m looking forward to continuing to follow along. I…
A) We need for him to steal the necklace and if that means that he needs to use the dead head of our opponent for a wierd fetish purpose, it is a small price to pay.
>>1131157 Well we wouldn’t be tricking them. (at least with my plan) They’d still try to steal it. The whole point of a calling card is to dare the notified party to try and stop you. So it’s fair game if they fail.
I don't like the idea of tricking the changelings with the exclusive contract. Do we even have the intention of giving it back to Argus? We did manage to steal it fair and square.
exclusive rights to steal. Exclusive Rights To Steal. Fey... Fey why.
Speaking of Dullahan, perhaps the Hive trio might be able to scope out the royal barge for their missing head? A year is probably ample time to plan a heist. Another important thing to add to the contract: Having the hive be unable to form or be bound by contracts with any agent or member of the Court, so that the Court cannot force, trick or coerce them into anything during their stay.
Seems like a good idea for handling the Fey robbers. Problems might arise if a non-fey (or devil) attempts to steal it, or if the Aegis is no longer in your possession, as then the exclusivity contract doesn't matter when the Aegis is unowned by the mice - a tricky fey might convince a mortal steal it for 'themselves' and then immediately rob the mortal. We've seen something of the sort happen…
>>1131150 Well, upholding this contract while giving back the Aegis once we’re done with it is simple. We just *lend* the Aegis to Argus once we’ve used it for moon business, then we take it back for a little on the night of the intended bug heist. We just get literally all our friends on security and the bugs won’t stand a chance. Then we give it back to Argus formally as a gift once the heist is…
Ours tend to be just generic exercises to strengthen the body (climb the rope, do pushups, anybody remember the multicolored parachute from early elementary?), or sometimes wrapped up with a loose theme or goals and rules, like "chase the chosen one" or "get the ball into the others' designated area".
>>1131143 Exactly! Give the Court the ruse they're already expecting so they get fooled by the actual scam. I imagine the angel messenger they have will be the most dangerous to face for an inspection, if it can tell 'real' from 'fake' angelic shifting. Counterable by being lewd to its prude self and making it too angry/proud to inspect details.
Also possible: feint with a "fake" glamoured trio(which are the guardians, or pretty much anyone who's willing to fill that role), provoking the Court into coming to grab the "real" mice (which are the changelings).
Step 1) Training montaaaaageeee to properly imitate the mice (mostly for Kole and Gaybe, as Kasey has it aced apart from minor intimate differences), fixing imperfections and testing the disguises with Mr. Ochre / Flashing Feathers, like we did with Casey (minus the sexy). Step 2) Mouse/bug orgy. Step 3) Kasey does all the talking / negotiations for the Hive as they board the barge, acting like…
Reminder of the prophecy: >”Lo, and bear witness to the wisdom of the Seers of the Court of the Reflected Sky. For they have foretold: that upon sunrise of the next day, the three mice shall cross the stilled waters and embark upon the great barge of the Court of the Reflected Sky; after which they will sail from this place as the guests of the court for the duration of one year.” By that wording,…
yeah you are certainly the brains of this bunch, what exactly WAS your plan? Mostly curiosity but maybe something can be reused.
>>1131136 1, you're going to help them all perfect their glamours and acting skills. 2, they don't need to keep the disguises up perfectly for the whole year. All they need to do is get the Court to form a binding contract that says they won't be harmed no matter what, for the duration of their stay. For *after* the stay... they may also be able to get a clause that says the Court can't harm them…
Technically, the prophecy just says that the mice will cross the waters, embark upon the barge, and be guests for a year. There's nothing about them remaining as mice the entire time. Though we do have guarantees of safety as guests.
Casey extends a finger and locks a binding spell around the thief, pulling her arms behind her back and locking her in place. “Oh, no you don’t. You were very convincing, but we caught you fair and square. You don’t go anywhere until you’ve heard what I’ve got to say.” The she says with a grin. The moth-like creature tugs helplessly against her binding for a moment before sagging and giving in.…
Gotta split up to make sure you have a way out. If the cliff you guys jumped down on the way in (or a similar one) is close to this location, it could make a nice ambush point if the enemy reinforcements are speeding towards here.
