The curse of the eloquent leader

We all envy eloquent leaders. They speak and the room moves — most times into action, but sometimes into silence.

Sometimes people listen to the inspiring address on that new idea we shared on the Google Meet call and it's so well put and strongly worded that they don't feel it can use any possible contribution from their 'timid' voices.

Hence inspiring leaders must realize how their gift can unintentionally send people into corners of silence. This means making more effort not only to be open to feedback, but to actively seek it, since inspiring speeches mostly sound like nothing else should be added or removed.

This is something I have been reflecting on lately. What are people keeping quiet about because I made it sound so perfect?
