Hi all. One of the greatest products around is our global weather system, which makes life possible, nourishes us, and gives us vibrant autumnal colors. It also has sent Washington, D.C. into a historic cold snap.
That led to one of my LEAST favorite products — the pipes running to my basement bathroom — to freeze and burst.
From this photo, you might think that doesn’t look too bad. Since you can’t hear the sound of a veritable waterfall cascading down the back wall (nor the long recitation of the bill from the emergency plumber), I’ve had ChatGPT zhuzh the image up to convey the emotional impact.
All this to say — my week was spent responding to this instead of producing a Product Friday episode. I’m sorry! Phelps and I will return next Friday.
