As I sit almost naked writing this I cannot as yet,
recover deep from “MEMORY” the first name of ‘Gruffly” Jones.
The word “Gruffly” (I chose to use as a placeholder) is more about the attribute of his gruffly voice and not his actually first name. He had over one million followers on YouTube before ‘they’ closed his channel down. This talk is not about “Gruffly’s Youtube Channel, only that you know of him.
I am TRYING, in the practical testing sense of the word, ‘trying’ to recover his first name.
STOP: Do not bleat his name out loud, keep quite if you know his first name automatically. There is a proper point to this reasoning.
You see as of this moment I have spent hours “attempting” to recover into conscious awareness memory his first name.
I have even been through many of the letters of the alphabet to find a prompt word that will trigger the First Name, and the I would have moved on satisfied, and missed this important lesson or observation.
As I cannot, as yet figure out or prompt my memory to simply spit the first name out, I have just laid in bed for a long time, scrolling the alphabet, not getting it, and thus pondered WHY, and WHAT is the process that is stopping me to just know this FIRST name again?
You see, and here is the paradox. I know that I know it, I am consciously aware that I know his FIRST name at a deep level in my memory.
In fact there was an initial time of wonder to recall the second name also, even though I had a mental picture of the man talking at his microphone, while sitting at his desk, gruffly talking. Well that came up, “JONES” so I locked it in, and I moved on to recall the first name and almost missing this lesson here on the paradox of memory.
How come I can test or recover some ‘word’ and then I know consciously that this word is either right or wrong?
And paradoxically how come I can know that “a word is not right” and thus still keep searching subconscious memory for it, even testing an alphabet roll through search to prompt memory recall?
So I asked my conscious memory self, given that at an Unconscious Competence level that “I know that I know the answer”. Then why does the brain not just serve up the answer it already knows?
This is the PARADOX I have been calling the “Gruffly Jones Paradox” because that is where I am sitting right now as I write this and still stuck on the FIRST NAME answer not being serve up yet.
You see, if the Unconscious Competence mental faculty in my brain had just served up that FIRST name too, I would not have had this deep insight into my memory processing, because I simply would have just got it, and then moved on to the next shiny thing to think about. Hmm so interesting.
The mental faculty of “Conscious Competence” has the ability to know that we know ‘something’ to be false, as well as true, and yet not have served up the answer from our mental faculty of “UN-Conscious Competence” obscuring it from Conscious Awareness, how bizarre. In the meantime I patiently await, curiously observing.
So what to do:
Do I just wait for the unconscious knowing to deliver? (chosen option)
OR
Do I go out and find more visual prompts by searching the internet?
I could just easily do that and get the answer of the GRUFFLY’s first name?
However I now am more interested in when or if the FIRST NAME as an answer will surface, from the very place I know it to be, deep in my mental faculty of “UN-Conscious Competence”.
I am fully aware that I CONSCIOUSLY know, ‘it’ knows.

As of this week I can say it happened.
You see a few days later, after the above events, I had an expectation and a prescient knowing that these PARADOXES will resolve for me as they usually do, and YES it did.
Funny thing was I had this emerging memory that these things are getting sorted for me by the unconscious mind in the backend, lol. And this is the ‘process” that i find so funny was my unconscious mind presented that soon enough the “answer” would indeed be brought forward to conscious awareness.
I had to wait a few days after the mental machinations of above and how even more ‘paradoxical’, rather than have the “answer” be served up as easy as that would be for the unconscious mind to do so, and as I pointed out far above, we ‘consciously know that it knows’ that answer. Yet here it is serving up what I liken to "A Notice Of Delivery”, LOL.
OK so the proper name of “Gruffly” as ‘name’ that I used as a place holder… is ALEX.
So thus we can put all the words together and come up with this well known dudes actual name, well know at least to those that remembered/recalled right from the very beginning of this chatter story. I just hope you embraced the stories messages, like the rest of us, instead of just being rather chuffed that you already knew that, and miss the point.
Q: Did You miss the lessons within, and above as such, or have you been learning along with me, myself and I = my conscious and unconscious selves and Mr. Gruffly Jones = “Alex Jones” as our unknowing muse.” PS: Thanks Alex, if you ever randomly stumble upon us here.
