Tessa Vega · Tessa Vega Moon

Well.
Here we are.

I’m starting a newsletter about astrology, lunar rhythms, and tarot — and I can already feel some of you squinting.

Fair enough. Let me explain.

Here’s what I believe:

The cosmos gives us language for what we’re already feeling.

Mirrors and maps. That’s it.

Not predictions.
Not “the stars made me do it.”
Not doom-scrolling through Mercury retrograde memes wondering if you should cancel all your plans.

Just useful questions.
Cosmic context for whatever season you’re in.
Something to sit with while you figure out what you actually think.

I’m starting Practical Stargazing because I wanted a space that treats these tools the way they deserve to be treated — as tools.

Not religion.
Not performance.
Not gatekeeping behind expensive courses and spiritual jargon.

If the sky can give you better language for what you’re already feeling? That’s useful.
If it helps you pause twice a month to ask yourself real questions? Also useful.
If it’s just pretty and makes you feel less alone in the chaos?

Still counts.

Moon Rhythm is the first offering here — a twice-monthly newsletter timed to the new moon and full moon.

That’s it.

No daily horoscopes clogging your inbox like an overeager ex. Just two emails a month, when the sky is actually doing something interesting.

  • New Moon emails
    What are you planting?
    What needs attention?
    Reset energy.

  • Full Moon emails
    What’s been revealed?
    What needs to go?
    Release energy.

Simple. Sustainable. The way things should be.

  • Cadence: Twice a month. New moon + full moon. I respect your inbox like I respect my own peace.

  • Length: 5-minute reads. MAX. I’m not writing you a dissertation.

  • Tone: Like getting a voice note from your friend who happens to be really into the sky.

  • Takeaway: Every email gives you something you can actually do — a question to chew on, a practice to try, a thing to release into the void.

And listen — if astrology still feels a little too crystals and sage for you?

Stay anyway.

The questions work even if you think the planets are just vibing up there, minding their business. I write for the skeptics too.

No doom predictions.
No “THIS TRANSIT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE” energy.
No spiritual gatekeeping or making you feel like you need to buy something to belong.

Just a place to pause.
Reflect.
Ask yourself real questions twice a month.

Maybe laugh a little, because honestly the sky is wild and sometimes the cosmic weather is just absurd.

This is for people who want insight without the insufferable.
Practical over precious.
Useful over woo.

Right now, Moon Rhythm is the main event. But Practical Stargazing is the whole house, and I’m building more rooms:

  • Tarot pulls
Because sometimes you need a card to tell you what you already know.

  • Seasonal astrology
The big shifts actually worth paying attention to.

You can pick what resonates.
No spam.
No overwhelm.
Just the good stuff.

The next New Moon lands on January 29th in Aquarius.
That’s when you’ll get your first real Moon Rhythm email.

Until then — I’m glad you’re here. Really.

Talk soon,
Tessa

P.S. You can reply to this post. I read everything. Yes, really. Yes, I’ll probably respond. No, I can’t tell you when your ex is coming back. (But we can talk about why you’re still asking.) 🌙
