Singularity Defense ($80M from Khosla Ventures and Felicis): Singularity Defense is building scalable air-defense and counter-drone systems for a world where cheap munitions overwhelm traditional defenses. An $80M Series A co-led by Khosla Ventures and Felicis at a $400M valuation stands out because defense hardware rarely gets this much early venture capital at this stage, and the El Segundo base puts the company in the densest US cluster for dual-use autonomy and air-defense startups.
