Designer Martina Herak (Instagram) from Poreč in Istria, Croatia stepped onto the global fashion stage with her first capsule collection at Paris Fashion Week. The show took place at the stylish Le Galerie Bourbon venue, where more than 60 designers from around the world presented their work.
Herak unveiled a collection titled “Cap01”, marking an important milestone for the emerging Croatian designer. The presentation was organised in collaboration with the international fashion platform Flying Solo, known for supporting independent designers.
For visitors and fashion lovers attending Paris Fashion Week, the show offered a glimpse into a bold and architectural design vision rooted in contemporary femininity.
The Cap01 collection explores modern femininity through strong, sculptural shapes and precise construction. Herak focuses on architectural lines that shape the garments and create a striking visual impact on the runway.
Black dominates the collection. This minimalist palette draws attention to form, movement, and volume rather than colour.
The designer combines faux leather and muslin, creating a dynamic contrast between strength and lightness. Sheer long-sleeved pieces interact with structured leather garments, producing a subtle play of light and shadow.
Each item belongs to a modular capsule wardrobe. Pieces can be mixed and layered in different ways, allowing wearers to create multiple looks with the same garments.
The runway presentation also featured a collaboration with the Belgian bag brand N!NE. Its clean lines and sculptural bag designs complemented Herak’s architectural clothing perfectly.
Models completed the looks with footwear from Högl, adding an elegant finish to the minimalist aesthetic.
Appearing at Paris Fashion Week marks an important step for Martina Herak. The event opens doors to new international collaborations and further growth of her fashion brand on the global scene.
