Last week, we opened more than our gates - we opened our hearts.

We were deeply honored as we welcomed four new souls to Dreamweaver Farms, each arriving with a story uniquely their own. Their journeys to us were shaped by loss, uncertainty, resilience, and hope. Here, we strive to give them more than safety. We offer patience, understanding, and a gentle place to begin again-a soft landing and the promise of brighter days ahead.

Because of you - your kindness, generosity, and unwavering belief in second chances-these dogs are now surrounded by love, healing, and hope. Their futures are brighter because we are walking this journey together.

Owner Releases

JJ’s owner had been in touch with us previously. They loved JJ dearly, but due to changes in their health and circumstances, they were no longer able to care for him as they had in the past. We knew that if we didn’t step in, JJ’s situation would only continue to become more difficult. So, we opened our hearts and our farm to him.

Since arriving at the farm, we’ve been getting to know JJ a little more with each passing day. Right now, he is wary of many things and unsure of most people. But if you simply give him a little time and allow him to approach you on his own terms, you’ll soon see his sweet side emerge. Before long, he’s enjoying pets, affection, and a little loving attention.

JJ has been through some changes, and we know he needs time to adjust. We’ll give him all the time he needs and let him acclimate at his own pace.

Of course, JJ will have a wellness check with Doc and a much-needed trip to the groomer for a relaxing spa day. With a few months of patience, consistency, and lots of love, we hope to see this sweet boy become healthy, happy, and confident. When he’s ready, we’ll help him take the next step toward the forever home he deserves.

Shelter Releases

Andrew is a one-year-old miniature poodle who was found wandering the streets as a stray. He was picked up and taken to an overcrowded shelter, as so many dogs are these days. When the shelter reached out to us for help, we were happy to say yes and welcome this little boy to the farm.

Andrew’s first stop was a visit with Doc, where he received his needed vaccines, and he is scheduled to return for his neuter procedure.

Once Andrew’s medical needs are taken care of, we’ll begin introducing him to a playgroup in Addison’s to see which dogs he connects with best. We’ll spend time getting to know him—watching how he interacts with people and other dogs, discovering his likes and dislikes, and learning all those little quirks that make him uniquely Andrew.

We’re hopeful this sweet little guy won’t be with us for long. Our greatest wish is that he soon finds a family who will love him, cherish him, and give him the forever home he deserves.

Ava is a five-year-old apricot miniature poodle who was abandoned on the street and picked up by local animal control before being taken to a shelter. When the shelter contacted us, we gladly opened our doors and welcomed Ava into our farm family.

Ava’s first stop was with our groomer, where she got some much-needed TLC. She’ll soon have her wellness visit with Doc and be scheduled for her spay.

Once her medical needs are behind her, Ava will be introduced to the other dogs in Addison’s. Like every newcomer who comes to the farm, she’ll be given time to settle in while we carefully get to know her personality. We’ll learn what makes her happy, what she may be unsure about, who her canine friends might be, and all the little things that make Ava special.

Our hope is that, as Ava begins to feel safe and loved, her sweet personality will shine through. And when she’s ready, we hope it won’t be long before she finds a family who will love her for the rest of her life.

Kiwi was yet another dog found as a stray and taken to a local shelter. Thankfully, she arrived at the shelter in relatively good health. She was tested for heartworm and vaccinated before coming to us, and we are incredibly grateful to the shelter for taking such good care of her and making sure she arrived on the farm healthy and heartworm-free.

Since coming to the farm, we’ve discovered that Kiwi loves meeting new people. She loves the attention and love they provide. If you stop petting Kiwi you may soon find she may just jump up and give you a hug, asking for more.

Kiwi is such a loving girl, and we know there is a wonderful family out there waiting to discover just how special she is. With a little patience and a whole lot of love, we believe Kiwi will make an amazing companion and a cherished member of her forever family.
