The latest round of policy changes has upset Disney’s casual and local visitors with four little words: Disney Resort Reservation Required. Focused, for now, on the Disney Bus, and Boat Transportation from Disney Springs, visitors without an active Disney Hotel Reservation will no longer be able to take the Disney buses or boats to the resorts from Disney Springs. While it definitely shakes up how to enjoy Disney World without a Park Ticket, if you’re at a loss, read up on the Disney Transportation so you can explore your options.
Moving full steam ahead with Lakeside Lodge ( Summer 2027 ), Disney shared new photos with heavy Waterpark Vibes. As in, this Wilderness area resort, being built on the previous River Country waterpark site, now includes a Lazy River, Water Slides, and extensive Water Features throughout. The Disney Boardwalk is also revamping the Atlantic City Dance Hall building into the Hurly Burly Lounge, and welcoming another Basin location in Late 2026. Check out all the details in the post.
