@ meadow @ iam The term “Free World” dates back to US WWII propaganda, eventually appropriated for Cold War propaganda. the “Free World” as opposed to the “Slave World” (Nazi Germany, eventually the USSR). so yeah it is deeply American in that it literally was born out of US propaganda.
