This video was inspired by all the politicians and Americans celebrating 250 years of freedom on the 4th of July this year! I originally wanted to post it on the holiday, but finding all these clips and organizing them took longer than I’d hoped. Unsurprisingly, there were too many to fit in a short video. 😬
All these very real and tangible infringements aside, I do believe freedom begins and ends in our consciousness—and that the first step toward achieving it is breaking free of the illusion that anyone has the right to rule over you...even if you voted for them and there's a revered piece of paper (the Constitution) with special rituals saying this authority is legitimate.
