tenderblom – fornow

Of course you know that tenderblom is OUR Tender Blom. With his debut ep1 he leaves the guitar behind in favour of electronic boombap, inspired by JPEGMAFIA. “In my opinion the best producer in the world.”

Swan Lingo – Can’t See Your Face Anymore

Swan Lingo is a singer-songwriter, rapper and multi-instrumentalist from Washington D.C., affiliated with the WEDIDIT Collective. His sound combines lo-fi sensibility with contemporary R&B, drawing on influences like Ms. Lauryn Hill and Beach Fossils.

Anna Calvi & Iggy Pop – God’s Lonely Man

Anna Calvi chose Iggy Pop as the perfect voice for her destructive inner monologue and the result is a tense duet of distorted guitars and clashing egos. The track appears on her EP Is This All There Is? (March 20), the first part of a trilogy exploring identity and love. Calvi: “He’s disruptive, raw and honest, a unique force.”

Sunday Mourners – He Cried (Tender Absolute)

This Californian quartet released their debut album A-Rhythm Absolute in January 2026: ten tracks of post-punk that lean heavily on Television, the early Modern Lovers and the Strokes.

Adult DVD – Real Tree Lee

The Leeds dance-punk six-piece signed to Fat Possum Records in January 2026 and simultaneously released “Real Tree Lee.” According to the band, the song is about “blokes who keep it blokey and wander too far into the idiotic side of the internet”, yet it sounds like an acid-washed dancefloor banger.

Parker Fans – Bark!

Parker Fans is an Amsterdam indie-boogie trio, with frontman Kick Kluiving (also known from Personal Trainer) laying out urban mini-dramas and comedies over drum samples, bass guitar and synthesizer.

The Hobknobs – Dictionary

Rotterdam duo consisting of Lewsberg frontman Arie Van Vliet and Yael Dekker of The Klittens. “Dictionary” appears on the compilation Going Back to Sleep... from Australian label A Colourful Storm (November 2025), limited to 250 vinyl copies. Van Vliet’s dry, cool delivery and Dekker’s voice strike the perfect balance between tenderness and the matter-of-fact tone that Lewsberg fans know well.

Max Winter feat. Asha Lorenz, Rael & Will Lister – Candlelight

Experimental pop musician Max Winter started “Candlelight” as a beat he and bandmate Will Lister passed back and forth, but it became a collage when Sorry frontwoman Asha Lorenz and London rapper Rael contributed their own distinct sections. The track comes from his forthcoming mixtape like the season!

AIDAN & tenderblom – SICK (TENDERBLOM RMX)

AIDAN is the solo project of British-Dutch multimedia artist Aidan Smit, known for dark electropop that blends IDM, hyperpop and industrial hip-hop. On the PERFORATIVE EP, “SICK” gets a remix and guest vocals from our tenderblom.

Lime Garden – 23

The Brighton indie four-piece released “23” on January 20, 2026, the first single from their second album Maybe Not Tonight (April 10, So Young Records). Vocalist Chloe Howard wrote it from a dream in which she spoke to her younger self about ambition and self-doubt with a Happy Mondays-inspired bassline and twinkling synths.

Steve French – Waves

Amsterdam indie rock band fronted by vocalist and guitarist Cees Paris, known for ragged melodies and vulnerable lyrics. “Waves” is the opening single from their third album Painted Sea, Painted Stars, built around the tension between the cosmic and the personal.

Damaged Bug – END OF THE WAR

Damaged Bug is the solo project of John Dwyer, the unstoppable force behind OSEES. “END OF THE WAR” is the announcing single for ZUZAX (March 20), recorded over seven years. A groovy, bluesy track with seventies glam rock undertones: drum machines, undulating synths and Dwyer’s unmistakable hooks.

Honey Dijon feat. Bree Runway – Slight Werk (Club Mix)

Honey Dijon grew up in Chicago’s queer house scene and last year won a Grammy for her contribution to Beyonce’s Renaissance. On “Slight Werk”, released January 23, 2026, she teams up with British artist Bree Runway for a dancefloor club track produced by Luke Solomon and Chris Penny.

Honey I’m Home – Pretty

Amsterdam quintet combining the raw energy of nineties alternative rock with shoegaze and emo. “Pretty”, released in February 2026 and produced by Sonny DiPerri (DIIV, julie), is a hazy two-minute meditation on beauty standards and looksmaxxing. The band will shortly make their SXSW debut.

The Notwist – How the Story Ends

The Munich indie ensemble covered this track by Georgian folk band Lovers, discovered on a Kill Rock Stars compilation. The version, appearing on their new album News from Planet Zombie (March 13), is a looping mantra of lost love, with sixties-referencing synths and jangle-pop guitar stripped of all joy. The Notwist plays Paradiso Noord on April 21.

Dry Cleaning – Joy

The South London quartet closes their third album Secret Love (January 9, 2026, produced by Cate Le Bon) with this track, whose lyrics were partly drawn from a university archive of food and drink advertisements. Florence Shaw sings: choose softness and compassion over giving in to the cynicism of the moment. A modest but radical closing statement.
