Hey friend, back with another PicAisso dive into the AI tools that make our creative hearts skip a beat! In this issue, I’m thrilled to dive into Recraft, an AI-powered design platform that’s inspiring 5 million creators across 200+ countries to bring their visions to life.

Brands like Netflix, HubSpot, and Ogilvy can’t get enough, and with over 400 million images generated and a five-month streak as the top image generation model in 2025, it’s easy to see why! Loved by TechCrunch and Business Insider, Recraft is my creative buddy for crafting pro-level visuals that shine. My absolute favorite? Its Photorealism feature that lets us kick boring stock photos to the curb.
In this issue, I’m sharing how Recraft’s photorealism can help us create on-brand stock photos tailored to our vision. Let’s jump in!

Imagine having a creative partner that brings your ideas to life with ease. That’s Recraft, a platform that designers and marketers at companies like Asana and Airbus turn to for stunning, professional visuals. Recraft lets us create photorealistic images, cohesive styles, perfect colors, and custom looks that feel so you. It’s lightning-fast, delivering assets in seconds, and its Canvas mode makes team collabs super smooth. From social posts to billboards, it’s got everything we need. Check out Recraft’s website and join the 5 million creators loving it!

Stock photos are expensive, generic, and rarely on-brand. Recraft’s Photorealism style creates images that look like pro photoshoots, and I’m obsessed.

Here’s why it’s amazing:

  • The Stock Photo Problem
Stock sites burn a hole in your wallet and give you images that scream “seen it before.” Licensing issues? A nightmare. Finding visuals that match your brand or connect with diverse audiences? Nearly impossible. I used to waste hours hunting for decent stock photos, only to end up with something bland that didn’t fit my client’s vibe. Recraft fixes all that, letting us create unique, on-brand visuals in minutes.
Check out the images and prompts here. I love how realistic the images are. They’re exactly what a café would want. Use them for social media, product branding, or internal communications, the possibilities are endless.

  1. Photorealistic medium shot of a cozy café nook, warm amber and taupe tones, coffee cup and book on a table, natural light, intimate escape vibe

  2. Photorealistic over-the-shoulder shot of a customer sipping coffee, warm gold and beige tones, cozy corner setting, natural light, relaxed morning vibe.

  3. A photorealistic macro shot of roasted coffee beans, rich tones (brown, amber), textured surface with oils, straight-on close-up, natural light, warm harvest vibe.

  4. Photorealistic close-up of coffee grounds, deep espresso and black tones, gritty texture, straight-on, natural light, bold prep vibe.

  5. A photorealistic close-up of a steaming coffee cup, warm tones (espresso, cream), foam texture, natural light, inviting brew vibe

  6. Photorealistic low-angle shot of a coffee cup on a rustic table, rich brown and cream tones, towering ceramic, natural light, cozy ritual vibe

  • Recraft’s Photorealism: Campaign-Ready in Minutes
    Recraft’s Photorealism
style delivers images that feel like they came from a pro photographer. The Artistic level slider lets me go from simple stock-like visuals to dynamic, editorial-quality shots.

Let’s create images for a healthy fruit juice brand!

I created all the images above using the Natural Light style. Once the images are ready, we can select Nano Banana, an external model in Recraft, to replace the juice with the actual product or swap the model in the images. This workflow helps brands save significant costs, as we no longer need to find locations, hire photographers, or spend time styling products.

Everything can be done with Recraft’s Photorealism, creating hyper-realistic stock images.

  1. Wide Outdoor Shot: A hyper-realistic wide shot of a beach picnic, diverse group of friends sharing fruit juice bottles (orange, berry, pineapple), vibrant coral, blue, and yellow tones, deep depth of field, golden hour sunlight with warm glow, dynamic composition with ocean waves in the background, f/8 aperture, joyful and summery vibe.

  2. Low-Angle Product Shot: A hyper-realistic low-angle shot of a citrus juice bottle on a picnic table, bright lemon and lime tones, reflective glass catching sunlight, shallow depth of field with blurred grassy park background, low-angle perspective for a towering effect, golden hour natural light, f/2.8 aperture, refreshing outdoor vibe

  3. Close-Up Fruit Detail: A hyper-realistic close-up of sliced tropical fruits (pineapple, mango, kiwi), vibrant yellow, green, and orange tones, juicy texture with glistening droplets, macro lens focus with ultra-shallow depth of field, soft natural light with a subtle lens flare, clean and centered composition, f/1.8 aperture, fresh and appetizing vibe.

  4. Wide Outdoor Shot: A hyper-realistic wide shot of a beach picnic, diverse group of friends sharing fruit juice bottles (orange, berry, pineapple), vibrant coral, blue, and yellow tones, deep depth of field, golden hour sunlight with warm glow, dynamic composition with ocean waves in the background, f/8 aperture, joyful and summery vibe.

  5. Close-Up Product Shot: A hyper-realistic close-up of a chilled fruit juice bottle, vibrant orange and mango tones, condensation droplets on glass, macro lens focus with shallow depth of field, soft natural daylight streaming from a window, subtle bokeh of blurred fruit slices in the background, crisp label details, refreshing and zesty vibe, f/2.8 aperture

  6. Medium Shot with Human: A hyper-realistic medium shot of a diverse young woman, 20s, tan skin, short curly hair, athletic wear, sipping a strawberry juice from a glass bottle in a sunlit gym, vibrant red and green tones, medium depth of field, natural morning light with a warm golden glow, dynamic diagonal composition, f/4 aperture, energetic post-workout vibe.

Imagine you’re a marketer for ZestVibe Juices, a brand selling vibrant, health-focused fruit juices to young professionals. You need visuals for a summer campaign that scream “refreshing” and align with ZestVibe’s bold orange and teal branding. Here’s how Recraft’s Photorealism and NanoBanana make it happen:

Step 1: Select any image that you like after you generated them.
Step 2: Select the NanoBanana model in Recraft to swap the generic juice bottles with ZestVibe’s branded bottles.
Step 3: Scale the campaign by using the same method for other assets such as social media posts, website banners or in-store posters, ensuring the consistent colors and vibe.

  • Hyper-Targeted Visuals: Your Audience, Your Way
Every audience has a unique story, and Recraft helps you tell it through visuals that feel personal and authentic. Whether you’re reaching eco-conscious Gen Z or adventure-loving families, Recraft’s Photorealism crafts images that connect deeply with your campaign’s heart.

Heartwarming Campaign for Families: TrailTrek Gear

Now imagine designing for TrailTrek, a brand launching family-friendly camping gear. You want website visuals that evoke the joy of outdoor adventures.
Use this prompt: “A hyper-realistic wide shot of a family, parents and two kids, ages 6–10, setting up a TrailTrek tent in a lush forest clearing, warm earthy green and golden tones, golden hour sunlight, f/8 aperture, joyful family adventure vibe.” The image feels like a professional outdoor shoot, ideal for banners or emails.

We can create visual for the product, try this prompt: “A hyper-realistic close-up of a TrailTrek backpack on a rocky trail, rugged gray and forest green tones, textured fabric details, soft natural daylight with a blurred mountain background, shallow depth of field, f/2.8 aperture, durable outdoor vibe.” This image is perfect for catalog and still feels consistent with the campaign style.
Imagine the time and money saved with Recraft Photorealism. We can have beautiful outdoor shots like the above.
Recraft’s style consistency keeps the earthy aesthetic across your campaign.

  • Empowering Marketers & Designers: Total Creative Control
    Recraft
puts the power in our hands. Whether you’re a marketer crafting campaign visuals or a designer perfecting brand assets, you can create images that stand out without stock libraries.
And the best part? These photorealistic images aren’t isolated assets. Recraft’s power comes from combining them with its other professional features. You can maintain style consistency across a whole campaign, use precise color control to match your brand palette perfectly, and edit any generated image — like changing a background or tweaking a detail — without starting from scratch. It’s this level of integrated control that makes Recraft a complete design tool, not just an image generator.

Select Photorealism when creating hyper-realistic stock images, then choose a style that fits your purpose. So many options! My favorites are HDR, Faded Nostalgia, Black & White, and Motion Blur.
Let’s see results from the same prompt using my four favorite styles.

Prompt: A photorealistic scene of a young White man, 20s, messy brown hair, fair skin, streetwear, skateboarding in an urban skatepark, bold red and gray tones, wide shot, natural light, dynamic skater vibe, he’s focused on his trick.

The styles I used in the images below are Motion Blur, HDR, Faded Nostalgia, and Black & White.
Pro tip: You can use the same prompt and try it with the different photorealism styles available in Recraft such as Enterprise, Natural Light, Studio Photo, HDR, Black and White, Motion Blur and more.
Once you find the style that you like, you can use the same style to create all your visuals.

Once you select this style, you don’t even need to include motion blur in your prompt.
