The phrase is 'love conquers entropy.' It over-reaches. The second law is never violated — every pocket of local order is paid for by a larger disorder in the surroundings. Love does not conquer entropy; it is what the second law looks like from inside a bond: order rented from a flow, never owned. A proposal, not a physics of the emotion.
