Bela Padilla declines to address alleged rift with Kim Chiu, Angelica Panganiban

MANILA, Philippines — Kapamilya actress Bela Padilla declined to comment on reports of an alleged falling-out with fellow actresses Kim Chiu and Angelica Panganiban.

Bela was asked about the issue by members of the entertainment media following the press conference for her upcoming Viva Films movie with Maricel Soriano, “Life After You.”

When asked if she was willing to address the issue with Kim and Angelica to finally clear the air, Bela politely declined.

“I won’t talk about it muna. Thank you,” she said.

The reported rift among the three actresses has continued to spark discussions online, particularly after fans noticed that their once-close friendship group, popularly known as “AngBeKi”—composed of Angelica, Bela and Kim—has become noticeably less active on social media.

Speculation about the alleged falling-out intensified following Bela’s appearance on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” where she talked about Kim having her egg cells frozen.

Some netizens believe Kim may have been upset about Bela discussing the matter publicly.

The speculation grew after Kim did not appear to engage with Bela’s birthday greeting for her on social media. Kim also did not publicly greet Bela on her birthday, which some fans took as another sign of a possible rift.

Meanwhile, netizens have also noticed that Kim and Angelica continue to interact and exchange messages on social media.

These observations have fueled speculation that Kim and Angelica remain close while their friendship with Bela may have gone through a difficult period.

Neither Kim nor Angelica has publicly confirmed that they have ended their friendship with Bela. For her part, Bela has chosen not to discuss the matter publicly.
