A few of this week’s highlights:
Spider-Man: Brand New Day, now in its fourth week, joined the all-time Top 3 domestically and the all-time Top 6 globally (in unadjusted dollars).
Insidious: Out of the Further was the top new movie, with one of the lower openings in the 16-year-old franchise.
The Odyssey passed The Dark Knight to become Christopher Nolan’s top movie domestically (it was already his top movie worldwide).
Mutiny had one of the lower openings of any Jason Statham film, but a slightly better opening than Shelter did a few months ago.
