I felt genuinely privileged to sit down with Susan Campbell — often called the grandmother of Authentic Relating. Susan has been active in the field since the 1960s and has written several books on how we can deepen our relationships. In this conversation she gives a rich account of everything that was happening in the relating world long before I knew it existed.
Susan Campbell is a psychologist, corporate trainer, and author of twelve books on relationships and communication, including the bestseller Getting Real. She has worked as a relationship coach and consultant for over 50 years and is a certified Radical Honesty trainer, founding the "Getting Real" body of work that has placed her as a central person in the world of relating arts.
