According to the wiretap transcript—which was made public today and has not been refuted by those involved—Péter Szijjártó was willing to pull all the strings with his Russian counterpart to ensure that Moscow would assist in influencing the Slovakian elections in accordance with the Hungarian government’s interests, what are the chances that he will not do at least as much to ensure that Moscow also assists in influencing the Hungarian elections in accordance with the government’s interests? Or that he will do everything in his power to ensure that Moscow does not assist?
