SimonMed

I worked with SimonMed to capture their cutting-edge facility for their upcoming marketing campaigns. We shot over two days on the weekend while the facility was closed, which gave us uninterrupted access to each of the rooms. I wanted to keep the lighting simple so I could move quickly and keep things more spontaneous. I would normally reach for strobes, but they wouldn't give me the color…

Doma Home

Doma Home is a new smart door that pushes home technology forward in both design and functionality. I was brought on to create photography and video content for the product launch. The doors were installed at the design studios for a press event, so we worked with a prop stylist to add thoughtful decor and create a space that felt more like a modern home. This helped place the product in a…

Fellow Clyde Electric Kettle

The market is flooded with electric kettles, but the Fellow Clyde Electric Kettle stands out—not just for its performance, but for its thoughtful design and beautiful color options. In this short video, I used motion to highlight both its features and its simple elegance. My goal was to keep the movement clean yet playful. I used the Kessler Second Shooter Pro and the KOS software to move the…

Puma Mostro XC

The Puma Mostro XC is all about bold design and rich texture. Suede leather, pointed soles, and sculpted lines come together in perfect rhythm. This teaser video brings those details to life through light, motion, and a touch of creative energy. Using the Kessler Second Shooter Pro allowed me to create a more dynamic video than I could with a stationary tripod. In DaVinci Resolve, I adjusted the…

Cionic Location

View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize For the second part of the job, I shot lifestyle photos and video on location at a house. The shot list was packed, so to cover both stills and video in a single day, I leaned on natural light instead of taking time to set up lights. The client wanted everything captured at 120 FPS for flexibility in post, so I went with the Canon R5 MKII—it…

Cionic Neural Sleeve 2

View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize The new version of Cionic’s Neural Sleeve is out. For the launch, they wanted images similar to what we captured last time but featuring the new and improved sleeve. Here are a few of the images we captured in my studio, showing the different stages of using the sleeve.

Film Photography

We all have our own ways to relax. Mine is going for a walk and taking photos with a film camera. This camera is especially meaningful to me because it’s the same model I used in college. I didn’t have the Tokina 35–105mm lens back then, but I’m excited to try it out now. Below are some past film photos I’ve taken on my walks. Follow me on Threads to see more of my personal film photos. I also…

Crestline Mountain Bikes Video Details

Crestline mountain bikes are blowing up — their latest builds are so in demand they’ve completely sold out. Thanks to Singletrackbandet, I had the chance to capture one in my studio to celebrate his new sponsorship. This short highlights the design and build of the bike, all shot in a day at my San Francisco studio using the Kessler Second Shooter Pro and edited in DaVinci Resolve.

U-Turn Audio Turntable

I loved creating this short video, capturing the clean lines and modern aesthetic of this beautifully designed turntable. Its minimalist form and thoughtful details made it a great subject to showcase through motion and light. I was able to use my programmable slider and geared macro lens, which added precision to the shots—both tools I plan to use much more in future projects.

Camera Sounds - ASMR

This is my Arca-Swiss view camera—clean lines, minimalist design, totally my vibe. I’ve been shooting with it for years, and it still blows me away with its timeless feel. This ASMR clip is my ode to a camera that’s as much art as it is a tool. Add a Phase One 150 MP back, and suddenly this it transforms into a powerhouse studio camera. Love that mix of old-school precision and cutting-edge tech.

Illumina - Part Two

To contrast the first set of images I captured for Illumina, we created a simple background with just a hint of warmth. Even with this simple setup, the sequencing machine really stands out.

Illumina - Part One

I had the pleasure of working with Illumina to capture images of their new sequencing machine. Their creative team did an incredible job shaping the creative direction, and having a custom-built set in the studio made everything feel so much more authentic.

FireBoard

FireBoard Pulse Wow! That was my first thought when I was asked to photograph the new Pulse thermometer from FireBoard. I love the design and color choices. Its sleek, minimalist design and use of premium materials made the shoot a true pleasure.

Queen City Shoes

I stumbled upon Queen City shoes as one does while randomly browsing the web, and I instantly became a fan. Before the shoes could be worn in with the love of everyday life, I knew I wanted to create a short video. My goal was to keep the video short while highlighting the craftsmanship and attention to detail that make these shoes stand out.

Abbott

I worked with Abbott to capture some images of their FreeStyle Libre system. We worked over 3 days, capturing images that tell the story of how the product is used, along with images of the product alone. Both the solo photos and the people photos work well together because we kept the lighting and styling similar. On the technical side, the photos of FreeStyle Libre alone are more complex than…

Watchmaker

I don’t often showcase my editorial documentary-style work, but my recent project with a watchmaker for Craftsmanship magazine felt like a nice follow-up and contrast to the studio watch photos I’ve been posting. Unlike my usual studio work, this shoot was all about spontaneity and natural light. There were no elaborate setups or art direction—just observe, wait, and capture. Working in an…

Fitbit

View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize View fullsize Collaborating with the industrial design lead on Fitbit watches, I captured a series of images. The aim was simple: emphasize both the visual appeal and practical versatility of these products. The resulting photographs offer a clear depiction of how these watches seamlessly adapt to various user activities.

Motion With Light

How can you make an interesting video of a still product? I've taken up the challenge of adding movement through colorful lights and shifting the focus. Everything comes together in an eye-catching, playful video that's perfect for social media.

Doritos Bag

When I have some free time, I enjoy expanding my portfolio with new imagery. Recently, I decided to take on the challenge of capturing the essence of a simple item, like a small bag of Doritos, in a playful and creative way.

eBay Watches

A high-end timepiece can last a lifetime. As a testament to the enduring appeal of collectible watches, I recently captured a series of images for eBay, showcasing the website as a premier destination for purchasing high-end timepieces.
