You can be doing everything right on Substack — great long-form content, consistent Notes, monthly Lives — and still watch your paid conversion rate sit stubbornly flat. It’s one of the most frustrating places to be as a Substack writer, because you’re doing everything the experts say, yet you’re still not seeing the results you’re told to expect.
