Dear Perry Community
September 2025 was nothing short of historic. Together, we raised our voices, built new bridges, and gave perimenopause the national stage it deserves.
This month, 17 U.S. states officially recognized September as Perimenopause Awareness Month—a milestone we could only have dreamed of a year ago. Next year, we’re aiming for all 50.
But proclamations were just the beginning. Across the country, thousands of women, health professionals, and advocates came together in living rooms, practices, conference halls, and community spaces to demand better care, better education, and better recognition of this stage of life.
Congressional Briefing in Washington, D.C.
On World Perimenopause Day, we gathered at the U.S. Capitol for a landmark congressional briefing. Policymakers, physicians, and advocates came together to spotlight the urgent need for better education, resources, and support around perimenopause. It was a powerful step toward ensuring midlife women’s health is recognized at the national level.
Expert Conversations That Changed the Narrative
We hosted 30+ panels and webinars with some of the brightest voices in women’s health—Dr. Suzanne Gilberg-Lenz, Dr. Stacy Sims, Dr. Jayne Morgan, Shannon Watts, Jen Hatmaker, and so many more—tackling everything from real stories, heart health to fertility, bone health, and mental well-being.

Perimenopause Awareness Luncheon in New York City
We closed the month with an unforgettable luncheon hosted at Everyday Health and sponsored by Replens. Dr. Kelly Casperson gave a reading from her new book The Menopause Moment, reminding us how science and wit can sit side by side with compassion. The room was filled with thought leaders in women’s health , advocates, and women who have been carrying this movement forward, together.
We asked Dr. Kelly Casperson ‘What is the worst part about Perimenopause?
- You DON’T want to miss her answer.
We have launched Perry Academy—a first-of-its-kind accredited education platform transforming how healthcare professionals support women through perimenopause - and it all started with what our users kept telling us through our perimenopause app.
The top concern women shared in our Perry app was not being able to find the right support from their healthcare professionals. It's no surprise - only 20% of OBGYNs report formal menopause training, and 58% of medical textbooks don't even mention menopause.
📌 What’s inside?

For too long, perimenopause has been whispered about—or not spoken of at all. This September, we proved that those days are over. With every panel, proclamation, and story shared, we chipped away at the stigma and built something bigger: a movement.
This isn’t the end—it’s just the beginning. The conversations we sparked in September will fuel new resources, new education, and new advocacy efforts throughout the year.
