Coming up this month, I’m gearing up for another round of image critiques for paid subscribers. It’s one of my favourite ways to spend time with this community, and from your comments, it seems you find it the critiques to be of value to you. These sessions aren’t about tearing an image apart; they’re built to feel like a conversation with constructive advice you can build on. You’ll walk away with feedback that’s specific and actually usable the next time you’re out shooting.
Here’s how it works: if your image is chosen, I’ll go through it closely, acknowledging what’s already working and where I see room to push it further or consider a different approach. Sometimes I’ll bring it into my editing suite, so you can actually see the adjustments and recommendations. My goal is to help you recognize your own strengths and to give you a clear sense of direction, whether it’s while you’re composing or in the post-processing phase with your image.
Remember to tune in, whether or not your image was chosen. There is always a lot to learn. Any images submitted to previous critiques are also eligible for selection.
