Happy Easter to everyone who celebrates it. And best wishes to anyone who doesn’t.
This is really just a quick post to mention that all three CHASING MERCURY books are currently on a Kindle Countdown Deal and available for only £0.99 / $0.99 each.
So if you’re not up to date, it’s a perfect chance to grab the missing volume(s).
Or if you are, maybe to spread the word... Here’s a tweet you could share, for example.

But what about that Easter egg (of sorts)? Well, here we are… It’s from the new book, the standalone sequel to the trilogy, set 20 years later and provisionally titled DROPOUT. Following the Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia, MI6’s ‘C’ and ‘C/SOV’ are discussing what might have befallen the American movie unit that was shooting a WWII picture in the country at the time. (This really happened, of course. The movie was The Bridge at Remagen – but not quite in this version…)
“But this ‘movie’ is the real thing is it, not a CIA front?”
“Seems to be. It’s called The Ludendorff Bridgehead.”
“Convoluted bloody title. Sounds like a chess strategy!”
Any similarity to Ludlum-esque titles in the CHASING MERCURY series is, of course, purely coincidental.
