35 Years ago Trump's Ego Imploded

Trump’s behaviour is not that of a rational or thinking individual - instead it reveals a shallow man whose business ambitions collapsed 35 years ago. He hoped to build casinos, hotels and an airline. Instead rising interest rates led to a complete collapse and multiple bankruptcies.

He was shut out of Wall St, a failure and a joke whose best friend became Epstein in the 1990s. His ego imploded and what emerged was a far darker individual driven by a desire for revenge. His marriage failed and he resorted to lying, blackmail, theft and tax evasion.

In the past couple of days an absurd “settlement” has seen the future DOJ promise to never again investigate the tax affairs of Trump or his 2 eldest sons. Why? Because leaked documents revealed DJT had paid little federal tax for decades, in returns that made little sense. Tax evasion.

Most Trump “businesses” in recent years have been scams of one kind (Trump U) or another (crypto donations for meetings with the US president or government). This is just fraud and bribe taking.

Anyone who investigated the President’s past or activities (Comey or FBI agents doing their job, investigating serious crime) has been subject to a campaign of intimidation and retribution.

Trump has gone to extraordinary lengths to hide embarrassing secrets. He obviously lied about his academic record and threatened legal action against his high school and university to prevent his true academic record being revealed. He appears to have had a poor education and doubts about his comprehension have been raised. Can he read a balance sheet? Usually helpful in business.

As light relief is Trump’s tantrums about Wind Turbines. Few Americans can realise the extent that this irrational idea, endlessly repeated, that “they don’t work” is (I believe) totally due to his complete humiliation in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

About 15 years ago an offshore wind farm was being built near a golf course in Scotland that Trump owned. He sued to block it. Despite his best efforts he was told by Scotland’s courts to “grow up and please go away…” (in legal language). Ever since Trump has been lying awake at night, grinding his teeth, plotting revenge on “windmills”. Tilting at windmills, Don Quixote style - not usually a sign of good mental health.

This pitiful, damaged man is all about ego. A complete loser for 40 years who wants to build gold statues of himself, and craves respect, knowing people find him silly. Every day in office his country gets a little weaker.
