THIS ISN’T AN APRIL FOOL’S joke. I really did release a new album of show music, and you can download all 14 tracks free.
After nearly 40 years of public speaking in the world of apologetics, writing books and articles, engaging in public debates, and, of course, hosting my daily three-hour radio show, I decided to check another box and add something entirely new and unexpected to the list by releasing this album.
Well, sort of . . .
My producer, Cyrus Simcoe, and I wrote the lyrics for all fourteen songs, but the music and vocals were created entirely by AI. The result is KEEP GOING: The Patrick Madrid Show Music Collection, Volume One, a collection of songs inspired by memorable moments, recurring themes, inside jokes, and familiar catchphrases from the show. In fact, the album title, Keep Going, comes from a phrase all regular listeners know well.

Back in the days when I was a wannabe rock star playing bass in various bands, I daydreamed about being signed by a major label and releasing albums. That was long ago and far away, and it obviously never happened because God had other plans for me.
So releasing an actual album was never on my bingo card, as the kids say. But after Cyrus and I started experimenting with AI-generated music using lyrics we’d written, one song became two, then four, then fourteen. Somewhere along the way, we realized we had an actual album on our hands.
And here it is. It’s all free.
