I’m Julia - a private chef who focuses on simple yet delicious meals. My goal is for my dishes to be approachable for everyone without losing the flavor aspect.

What I’ve Been Up To

I recently picked up a new hobby…Needlepointing! I was quite bored this past weekend and if you know me you know I love a craft. So here we are. Lot’s of good eats this weekend and lots and lots of TV and rest. I have been exhausted so I tried my best to listen to my body and rest for a few days.

What I Have Been Watching

I was never a big TV person, but for some reason now - it’s like another new hobby of mine lol.

ON TV: Severance, I Will Find You, and Gilmore Girls (just a comfort show of mine)

I also saw the Odyssey and Spiderman this past week in theaters…so so so good.

Enough about how I have been keeping myself busy, let’s talk food.

Every week, I cook professionally, test recipes, and spend more time than I’d like to admit thinking about what to make for dinner.

I’ve realized that the hardest part of cooking usually isn’t the cooking itself, it’s deciding what to cook. There are thousands of recipes online, but when 5:30 rolls around, that somehow makes dinner feel even more overwhelming.

So every week, I’m going to make that decision for you.

Welcome back to The Stress-Free Dinner Plan, a weekly roundup of the three recipes I’d genuinely recommend making. These are recipes I’ve cooked, loved, and would happily make again. They’re simple enough for a busy weeknight, delicious enough to look forward to, and the kind of meals that deserve a permanent spot in your rotation.

This week’s menu is all about ~marinades~

This marinade may be one of my favorites. It’s sweet, citrusy, and salty. So easy to marinate the morning or night before dinner, throw the meat on the grill and prepare a few toppings of your choice. You could even turn them into a bowl if you don’t want tacos.

Why this recipe?

It’s so versatile and a crowd pleaser. Tastes like you put a lot of work into dinner but in reality it is all in the marinade.

recipe:

carne asada tacos
