Over the past decade, while making my feature documentary HEAR, EAT, HOME, I took meaningful detours to explore different lives and quiet human moments. Here are a few highlights featured in the clip:
My Mother’s Table (American Documentary Film Festival): A Kurdish-Syrian refugee mother and daughter share memories of home over cooking.
Shinobu (Portobello Film Festival): Japanese flute maker Ranjo and musician Kaoru Watanabe reflect on life, craft, and joy.
Weaving (Woodstock Museum Film Festival / UNGA Healing Arts): Ukrainian refugees and artist Ludmila Christeseva use craft to build sisterhood amid war.

My Approach
I tell stories through cinema vérité and observational filmmaking. I don’t enter a scene with all the answers—I invite you to observe reality with me, capturing subtle emotions and human dedication. I may not know you, but I care about you.

我的創作思考
我喜歡透過直接觀察與真實電影（Cinema Vérité）的手法來講故事。我不會帶著現成的答案進到現場，而是邀請你與我一起觀察現實，捕捉細微的情感與職人的專注。「即使我不認識你，但我關心你。」 這永遠是我創作的起點。
