Hi! It’s officially summer! I hope you’re doing well and loving the warmth wherever you are. Personally I’d like to think I am the best version of myself when the sun hits my skin and spending as much time as I can outdoors. I find that east coast summers bring me the most joy and inspiration to my life.

I have been waiting to round up all of the items I have been wearing nonstop from some of my favorite brands. Starting off with a list of the brands I have been wearing NONSTOP. If you have been lost on where to check or shop from, hopefully one of these speaks to you. I find that they all have one thing in common, and that is lasting and having independent, clear brand identities, making it simple for me to integrate something from their collections into my wardrobe.

Rouje, Dôen, Cou Cou Intimates, Nili Lotan, Nuovo, Posse, Gywn, Madewell, Vuori, The Row, Khaite, mixed with vintage or great finds from Etsy.

A basic on rotation for me is this white tip with a twist. I love the lace traced trim to add a feminine flare to the top half of the outfit. Last week I wore it (seen here) with a long denim skirt from Gywn that makes getting dressed simple and a thong sandal (alt, alt). I’ve been styling it with capris or loose denim. I haven’t seen anyone else in these Nili Lotan jeans which are perfect for anyone on the shorter side (no need for the extra step of taking it to the seamstress).

From the gym, to the beach, to date night, the sexiest thing for me this summer is a halter neck body suits/one piece. A plunging deep v with the perfect amount of coverage is necessary for anyone who wants more versatility in their wardrobe. Each body suit, depending on the neckline, changes the entire vibe of the outfit. This one with scoop neckline and thin straps is gorgeous, as well as this one with an open back and tie detail on the back. See here for all my body suit picks!

Linen, crochet, and cotton are the fabrics I cannot get enough of when getting dressed. For dinner with Hailey Bieber (wtf) in Rhode Island last month, I wore an all white outfit (here), making it different with the juxtaposition in textures. YES— she is even more fabulous and genuine and beautiful in person and all of the other beautiful qualities you could imagine! That evening I wore this crochet top backwards with a silk skirt from Gywn (now on sale).

As for other tops and tips on traveling light… I’ve been taking from my boyfriend’s suitcase. Borrowing his linen button downs create the best outfits and simple packing. I love to through the button down over a white tank, or just a thin french bra peaking through. Big sunnies and a more feminine shoe like a ballet flat or heel are usually my go to.

Weekly favorites are updated each week in this folder.

I was recently introduced to DE VERA, which started in San Francisco in 1991 by Federico de Vera. They are also at The Row Amagansett Local Store, however, they have a beautiful selection of art and handcrafted jewelry at their studio located in West Chelsea in Manhattan. This summer I’ve been gravitating a lot towards jewelry more than ever in my life, and specifically coral. As far as my picks from De Vera’s collection go this victorian coral ring and these coral earrings are so magical to me. Growing up, and still to this day my Abuela always has natural stones adorning her neck, pulling her entire outfit together or simply making it. One of her favorite stones is coral, which is no surprise to me because whatever she loves, I love too. As a little girl and 24 year old, I still anticipate her arrival coming over for dinner so I can coo over her sweet voice as she explains the stories so vividly that make up her attraction to what she has on and how she chose to get dressed that day. Something else that’s worth considering if you’re into the coral: these three that are from my favorite online vintage store, here and here.

Because sometimes it is nice to have freedom in dabbling in trends when you feel called to, without a crazy receipt. I am into these (bigger version) and these (smaller version) of the black rhodium look. I treated myself in the winter for my birthday to the Jessica McCormack black rhodium gypset hoops in 0.4 carats, and they are the pair I get asked about most. I put them on and have not taken them off. They're perfect for everyday and beyond. I have never owned a pair of fine earrings due to the fact that I am young and simply could never afford them before now, but when the time had come around to treating myself, I knew exactly where the gap was to fill.

I will always be about indulging in the pieces in your closet that will carry you through a lifetime and generations to come.

That’s all for this letter! I’ll be chasing the good light all summer, hopefully with some coral around my neck, and borrowing my boyfriend’s linens until further notice. Tell me what you haven’t taken off. I want to know.

xx
