The Tragedy Is Finished

Thank you for reading the Tragedy of the Titanium Tyrant! I’ve been working on it for more than a decade, and now it’s done. Hopefully my next novel will go faster.

There still remain several Tragedy-related projects; I want to put a Kindle or equivalent together to serialize it, I plan to do subscriber AMAs both in-character as the Tyrant (currently planned for next Saturday the 20th at 2 PM, Pacific time) and as the author (Saturday the 27th).

I expect work here to slow while I (a) work on more stories and get them edited so I can start posting them, and (b) pivot slightly to my nonfiction blog. There will be a shorter, lighter serial focusing on the Titanium Tyrant’s younger days going up (current ETA is Monday the 22nd, but that’s a guess, not a promise), but after that I’m not sure what I’m doing.

Fair warning - I do want the ebook, but Amazon might require me to hide the online version of the Tragedy in order to give me any money for it. I’m also working on ebook versions of the Tragedy; unfortunately, I hear that Amazon might require me to take it down on Royal Road and Substack as a requirement for me to get any money for it. I dislike internet piracy, but since I already gave this version away for free, I have no objections to people copying it for themselves so they still have it and I’ll give you a warning before the for-sale version comes up. Current plan for not taking it down is to add a $1/month tier to Substack that consists solely of backlog, but if other people have any suggestions they should feel free to are them.
