If there’s one thing that doesn’t make much sense to me it’s that after almost a year of Our Table’s Company we’ve hardly tapped into the world of appetizers. One thing about me is I love an appetizer, but honestly, who doesn’t.
I foresee a fall appetizer series in the future, but before we get there, why don’t we start with the current season’s favorite. Heirloom tomatoes are in their prime, so mom paired perfectly roasted tomatoes with a gorgeous whipped ricotta.
This tomato confit is a great pair with a lot of different options. We’ve spread it across chicken breasts, warm crusty bread, and pasta. Get creative, enjoy tomato season, and maybe pair this appetizer with one of our Sips of the Summer.
