Wikipedia is, of course, well known as a place to contribute to the global knowledge base. Lesser known, but just as useful, is OpenStreetMap . Editing is easy for both the technically and non-technically inclined and it’s nice to have a world where Google, Apple, et al aren’t the only games in town for street cartography. I needed a couple of hours of down time doing something useful…
