I expect this to be the most expensive and competitive Senate race in the country. Remember, this is Georgia. This race is pivotal.

This race matters! The outcome will have a profound impact on our immediate circumstances and on the long future — for our state, our nation, and our world.

And over and over throughout American history, Georgia — the cradle of the Civil Rights Movement — has been a place where courageous people on the right side of history have made a transformative impact.

Look, there is no path back to the majority — and therefore to real accountability for all this obscene corruption and abuse — without winning this Senate race.

And I am facing a man, MAGA extremist Mike Collins, who is unfit for any office.

Trump and his big money MAGA machine will do whatever it takes to replace me with his puppet, who is pro-war, pro-tariff, and pro-cutting your health care.

Before my election to the U.S. Senate, I led a team that investigated and exposed war crimes, human rights abuses, official corruption and organized crime for international news organizations.

We helped courageous journalists smuggle the truth out of repressive societies with authoritarian governments.

And more and more, the United States under Donald Trump reminds me of those places.

That’s why we need to send a massive message this fall — a message so clear and a rebuke so decisive this fall that no president — of any party! — will dare anything like this again … for centuries.
