On September 1, we end the Poisoner Trilogy with The Cannibal. It’s bittersweet, but I’m so excited to wrap it up just as I imagined it. This doesn’t mean the series is over, just this specific storyline.
On September 29, I debut my first fantasy with Florescentia. I am incredibly proud of this book and it did not come easy. I think this book fought me the whole way out. It’s steampunk, it’s dark, and touches on topics close to my heart. I hope everyone enjoys this dark romantic fantasy. This is book one of a duology!
We survived our third release of the year, The Arachnid (Book 2 of The Poisoner Series). My team and I did our release day traditional store crawl where we visit all our indie and retail stores to spread the love!
Signed copies were left at Barnes & Noble (Union Square and 5th ave), Twisted Spine, Astoria Bookshop, The Ripped Bodice, and Love & Legends! We ended the day with a small party and chat at Twisted Spine with the fabulous Saint (S.T.) Gibson !
The Arachnid hit #25 on the USA Today list instantly, had its own table at the Union Square Barnes (the largest B&N in the world), The Poisoner officially ran out of it’s first print run (so all the sprayed edges you see in store are the last!), 1 Million page reads in a week, and Arachnid hit plenty of #1 spots in it’s amazon categories. It’s also worth mentioning that Poisoner hit 100,000 sales!
BookCon was one of the most insane experiences of my career! Huge thanks to my publisher for bringing me, for my readers for selling out ALL my books at all booths who carried it, and to Lunar Literary Agency for keeping me sane in between everything else.
You know what that means… we are getting closer to release of The Cannibal! I will be running lots of fun giveaways with my publishers, friends, and other artists for plenty of opportunities to grab one! Make sure to keep an eye on my Instagram for the announcements!

Will you be finishing the special editions for the trilogy?
Short answer: yes.
But, it probably won’t be until 2027 or later. I decided it’s best to wait for all the books to be released since I will be partnering with my publisher on the printing!
We will also be bringing back The Poisoner special edition and extra goodies I made with my artist friends. (aka, please do not buy reseller copies. You will save a lot of money waiting for the Kickstarter).
