Sorry for the delay, but yesterday was the last round of the US Open, so I was busy working and then driving home.

In case you missed it, I created a new tactics training website. This website offers the same sort of mix you see here. Easy, moderate, hard. It’s all there waiting for you.

Welcome back to another week of persistent progress. One thing I’ve learned about chess is that if you give a lot to the game, it will give it back with interest. However, the moment you take your foot off the gas, you will decelerate twice as fast as you think.

So, to progress, we must be relentless.

Do I design these posts to be a training program in and of themselves? Not exactly, but that’s not too far from the truth either, though. They are a microcosmic encapsulation of what a good training program should look and work like. You can read more about how I structure my own training program here.
