Sometimes, the fastest way to lose momentum on a critical journey is to come up against a challenge that you don’t have the right tools for. An easy ice breaker, a thorough report to refer to, perhaps a podcast to listen to during a rough commute. Having accessible ways to help you learn, share, and facilitate change removes the friction that comes with starting from scratch or needing to chip away at a sticky issue. Welcome to this edition of One Future Post, where I (re)introduce you to One Future Collective’s Toolbox: a virtual resource repository for social justice education and action designed to meet you where you are.
With love,

One Future Collective
One Future Collective’s Toolbox contains over 200 resources and was developed to share practical and accessible tools for social justice education, designed for learners at different levels and styles of learning, across various personal and professional experiences. It serves as a complete companion for leaders to effect change in their micro-communities through personal transformation, facilitating learning, and designing interventions. Over 10,000 people have accessed the Toolbox to date. Now, it’s your turn!
The Toolbox is divided into the following sections:
Blogs
Books
Podcasts
Facilitation Tools
Reports
Self-paced courses
The Toolbox is almost entirely free to access, and includes blogs condensing our practical experiences, resources, and open-source activities and templates for you to use in your own micro-communities - with friends, family, co-workers, and office teams. Below, we walk you through what you can find in each of its sections and offer examples that you can click on now to explore.
Blogs
The Toolbox hosts more than 100 blogs, covering editorial series, learnings from our consulting work, actionable recommendations and tools from our advocacy initiatives, podcast transcripts, open-access policies, and more. Blogs contain photos, videos, links, and games to engage a wide variety of readers. Divided into helpful categories, this section is easy to navigate and has something for everyone!

Facilitation tools
Our goal as social justice educators is to nurture new leadership that can facilitate change and critical consciousness building within their micro-communities. We achieve this by offering a range of free activities and handouts that can be facilitated by one or two people for large groups. Each handout contains a reflective, movement- or arts-based activity with clear instructions for the facilitator, including the objectives of the activity and how to manage participants. We provide games, case studies, activities, energisers, and ice-breakers covering introductory to advanced levels of learning, on themes like anti-oppression, power, privilege, gender justice, etc.
Not sure how this works? Use our tool on building feminist justice charters next time you bring a group together!

Podcasts
Learning about social justice can often feel intimidating because of the density of its more traditional sources. This is why the Toolbox houses seven podcast series (audio and video, English and Hindi), on themes of social justice, feminist literary criticism, technological justice, state-sponsored violence, and organising for change. Each episode features an expert in the field sharing critical insight in an easy, conversational, evidence-backed way.
Whether it’s a long commute that feels never-ending or increasing disbelief in the podcast medium, the answer probably lies in an OFC podcast.
Self-paced courses
The Toolbox hosts our entire library of 20 self-paced courses, most of which are free to access. Our library has nearly 3,600 learners who rate courses an average of 4.3 out of 5. It includes courses for:
Professional development (Prevention of Sexual Harassment or PoSH, feminist lawyering, business and human rights),
Personal enrichment (gender just relationships), and
Advocacy and leadership strengthening (about gender-based violence, forms of justice, labour rights in the 21st century, etc.)
Books
Need to dive into a good poem, need practical insight on how to coach or listen to a friend as a feminist, or want to brush up on your trauma-informed communication skills? We have a book for that! The Toolbox contains feminist skill manuals, poetry collections, guides to having difficult conversations, and more. Click the button below, and let us match you to a book we think you will love!
Reports
To keep our longer-form content, such as research studies and project reports, accessible, we keep them downloadable through the Toolbox. They are free to read and cite in your own work. If you are curious, consider exploring our recent position paper on the agreed conclusions from the 70th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70), 2026, titled ‘Embedding Trauma-Informed Practices within Access to Justice’.
Read the paper here.
One Future Collective’s Toolbox is available on www.onefuturecollective.org, almost entirely for free, with new tools being added every month. We can’t wait for it to become a part of your social justice journey.
