There Was No King Like Him Who Turned to the Lord

Recently, an article was published by a particular individual that got some attention for, I believe, its naïve adherence to what some may consider outdated thinking. Most people who like the sentiment in the article don’t speak like the author does anymore. However, it crudely and sloppily said the quiet part out loud. The author in question goes by the name “My Political Two Cents” and, according to his Substack, is a 15-year-old Indian (dot, not feather) who lives in Australia. I do not recommend seeking out his content or engaging directly with the particular article in question, titled “Cultural Homogenisation Is a Massive Force for Good.” It isn’t good or insightful or a good use of your attention, but it does serve an unintended purpose which I will be addressing here.

Others have already done a point-by-point refutation of Mr. Cents’s article. I will still give a short overview. The article is a synthesis of adolescent, half-baked libertarian clichés and 1990s-era Boomer Liberalism. The author combines these two ostensibly separate frameworks into a three-part defense of globalized Liberalism. Basically, his thesis is that Liberalism is good because voluntary consumption of corporate slop (e.g., McDonald’s) helps everyone on Earth relate to each other, which can help decrease racism and xenophobia, promote basic human rights and democracy, and eventually lead to utopian world peace. Have you ever seen the infamous clip of Anthony Bourdain in a German restaurant talking about how eternal race-mixing helps eradicate the evils of racism and Nazis? Imagine a teenage Vivek Ramaswamy giving a 10th grade presentation of the same sentiment, and you will know the spirit of the piece.

By the way, I don’t blame this author for having an affinity for Liberalism. Global Liberalism allowed his parents to move from the Subcontinent to a nice place like Australia. Liberalism gave him access to you, man of the Anglosphere, linguistically, culturally, financially, physically, and spiritually. It is only natural for such a person to appreciate the vehicle that gave him access to a superior land and race and culture. His attempt to invoke the spells of Liberalism as a means to allow more of his kinsmen to access you is par for the course with his race.

What is worth your time, and your soul, is a careful reflection of what the idols of the age are. This is what every man can do from first principles in response to the wickedness of the age. Mr. Cents is expressing his positive belief in the state religion of Liberalism. He frames the state religion as a good that results in what he thinks are beneficial results for everyone involved. He is what the Liberal wants the savage convert to be: condescending of the base Culture and Traditions while expressing fake gratitude for consumer globalism.

You know better. You know that GDP growth, as it currently exists, is fueled in part by hiring retarded subcontinentals to drive freight trucks for slave wages. Such truck drivers proceed to murder your kinsmen on the roads without an ounce of remorse, if they are even capable of remorse in the first place.

You know that global supply chains are barely maintained and poorly operated by subcontinental Merchant Mariners like the crew of the MV Dali, a Singaporean container ship that destroyed the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Maryland in 2024.

You know that new homes are more expensive than ever and are of garbage quality because they are built by slave Hispanics who don’t care about delivering you a quality finished product.

You know that Internet services like YouTube and Twitter are nearly unusable because of massive quantities of AI slop peddled by subcontinentals in leadership positions at American tech companies.

You know that the access to you, which Mr. Cents desires and loves, is the exact mechanism that gave subcontinental monsters access to 250,000 White women in the UK, and that number is just what was able to be counted by Rupert Lowe. You know that the true number is likely much higher.

None of these atrocities against you, or the many other examples I could give, exist as isolated events. All are facilitated in service to the state religion of Liberalism. There is a reason that Christ our Lord through the Apostle Paul says that the love of money is the root of all evil. Such evil is among you in your libraries, your grocery stores, your schools, your streets. What is there to be done? Why am I taking the time to write this piece in response to Liberal trash? Because this conflict is ultimately religious, and the only chance we have against the religion of Liberalism is a positive hope in the faith and tradition given to us through Christ.

I have been meditating on King Josiah in recent months. For those of you who are not familiar, Josiah was king in the southern kingdom of Judah after Judah and Israel split into two kingdoms. He appears near the end of the kingdom of Judah and is the last righteous king before the sack of Jerusalem at the hands of the Babylonians under King Nebuchadnezzar. I highly recommend brushing up on King Josiah, both in the end of 2 Kings and in the end of 2 Chronicles in your Bible. There is quite a lot of wisdom to glean from Josiah, but I want to focus on his early years. Josiah is the grandson of Manasseh, the most wicked king of Judah. He comes to the throne at the age of 8. When he is 16 years old, he begins to seek the God of his father David. Having sought God on his own for four years, at the age of 20, he begins to purge his kingdom of idols, images, Asherim, and the like.

Having done what he could on his own, in the 18th year of his reign at the age of 26, Josiah receives a new revelation. A new revelation for him, to be precise, but a revelation that was much older than himself. After the initial round of physical idol purges in Judah, Josiah sets himself to rebuilding the Temple that had fallen into disrepair. While cleaning out the Temple, his priest finds a copy of the Law of Moses that had been lost and forgotten in the Temple. Upon hearing the Word for the first time in his life, Josiah publicly makes a covenant to God before the whole country to follow the Law of Moses. Josiah leads his people in doing the same. He proceeds to throw the greatest Passover feast, a symbol of the coming Christ, in hundreds of years. Afterwards, Josiah does a second, more intense round of purges. Not just of physical images, but of the mediums, spiritists, teraphim, deities, pagan priests, cult prostitutes, and ALL other abominations to God that escaped the first purge. He goes so far as to dig up the bones of enemies who had died and burn them on the pagan, false altars in an act of intentional defilement before slaughtering the living evil priests and burning them on the altars. As they had passed many a child through the fires, they too were passed through the fires.

There is no sense of so-called freedom of religion with Josiah. There are no limp-wristed appeals to free will or choice. There is no separation of church and state. There is no respect of other religions or faiths. There is no tolerance of evil in his domain. All such things are idols to the god of Liberalism. Josiah makes an intentional and specific covenant, and his nation will follow his lead. Josiah wields his God-given authority as king to use force against the abominations to God and does not allow any trace of his grandfather’s wickedness to remain. As is stated in the 23rd chapter of 2 Kings, verse 25:

Before him there was no king like him who turned to the Lord with all his heart, all his soul, and all his might, in conformity to all the Law of Moses; nor did any like him arise after him.

At the start of his reign, before he receives the Word that had been lost in the Temple, Josiah does a decent job on his own through his own will. God was certainly helping him before the revelation, but Josiah realizes that his work is incomplete after reading the Word and fully devoting himself and his people to God. The same can be true in our own lives. You might be a capable man of good stock, but you are not enough on your own. Josiah’s best work is done only after he reads the Word and makes a covenant with God. Only then does he act in a manner that the Holy Spirit describes as unlike any king before or after him. We ought to follow the example of Josiah. Having done what we can on our own through our own strength, we are called to hear the Word and be invigorated through supernatural wisdom and strength to take the next steps. Read your Bible, and listen to the Word that God has revealed to you. This is the key to standing against the wickedness of the Liberal age. The young priest from the Subcontinent has his religion of Liberalism. His kinsmen coming after him have their demons from the pits of Hell as their gods. You have Christ, and you need to be stronger in your faith than they are in theirs.

Like Josiah, the generation of our grandfathers is a notoriously evil generation. Like Josiah, we are in a nation that has a long history of following false gods. Josiah’s reign is about 300 years after the reign of King David. That whole time, with few exceptions, Judah had been in a near-constant downward movement away from God. Our nation is similar. While the wickedness of our grandfathers’ generation was particularly bad, America has been progressing through Liberalism, a product of the Enlightenment, for its entire history. Some eras are better than others, but the general trend is certainly there.

There is another element to the reign of Josiah that we need to understand. Josiah knows that the judgment is coming no matter what. The evil of his grandfather Manasseh and many of the other kings further back angered God so much that God goes so far to tell Josiah: “My wrath burns against this place, and it shall not be quenched.” This is before he enacted the second round of major reforms. Knowing that God’s wrath is coming, Josiah still follows God’s commandments. We today, in the Year of Our Lord 2026, have no such guarantee of immediate judgment in this life. We have the blessing and freedom in Christ to love one another. “Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.”

What an amazing joy! What a beautiful light in the present darkness! Our immediate doom is not revealed to us. All the more reason to remain hopeful. Freedom in Christ requires love of friends, love of one another, and the privilege of following God’s Word. In Christ, we don’t have to listen to the subcontinental priests of Liberalism, and we don’t have to follow the wickedness of past generations who followed that evil religion. Only through Christ can we, like Josiah, fully be prepared to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. What is the answer to the darkness that wants access to you and yours? Read your Bible, love your friends, and don’t bow to the Liberalism of the age.
