If you had plans already this weekend, cancel them! You’re hanging out with us, diva!

One reason we started Oaklash was because we wanted there to be more events that happened in our back yard - so many artists who live in the East Bay head to SF for financial opportunities that just didn’t exist out here 10 years ago.

It’s been amazing to see how things have changed in the last decade - it now takes more than one hand to count all the queer owned bars in Oakland, there are queer events every night of the week, and the pantheon of great East Bay performers continues to grow exponentially.

Pride came early this year, and we’ve got your itinerary all set out for you! Open up your calendar, this week is gonna be a marathon!

5-9PM @ Lakeshore District

Our friends at Boss Idea House have organized a bar crawl through Oakland’s LGBTQ District in Lakeshore in collaboration with The Oakland LGBTQ Center and a long list of amazing organizations. Chillonas is hosting a Latin space at Sable, FILIPINX is hosting an API space at The Peach, and we’ll be at The Cat House with a lineup of all trans talent.

5-10PM @ 23rd & Valdez St

You already know when Pride comes around the corner here in Oakland that we’re gonna throw THE party of the weekend. We’re hosting a block party that’s been curated and organized by our O-SNAP! summer interns. We’re taking over a whole new block in North Lake with a lineup of vendors, DJs, and performers you don’t want to miss. Come in your most colorful fit and come throw some ass and throw some tips.

$0-$50 Suggested Donation • All Ages • ASL Interpreted!

7PM @ The Oakland Coliseum

We were invited back to do a half time performance for the Oakland Roots Pride Night this year and there was only one person who came to mind — La Vicky has been touring this Bad Bunny Super Bowl act across the Bay all year but where better to showcase it than in an actual arena streamed live on the Jumbotron during a soccer game?

Tickets start at $24 • All Ages!

10:30AM - 6PM • Frank Ogawa Plaza

Thats right, you’re looking at the Grand Marshalls of Oakland Pride 2026! 10 years ago Beatrix and I drunkenly decided to throw a drag festival and people keep telling us that wasn’t a stupid idea. If you’re an early bird you can join us for the parade starting at 10:30AM (sign up to walk with us here) or we’ll be performing in the VIP section at 2PM.

FREE BEFORE NOON then $20 GA • All Ages!

3:30 - 7:30PM • 7th West

This collab has been longggg overdue — we’re huge fans of everything the folx over at Soulovely do for our community and we were so excited to help them put together a lineup of all Black talent for their Pride weekend Prom event. Close out a busy weekend here in Oakland by leaving it all on the dancefloor.

Tickets start at $20 for BIPOC • 21+
