The Future - We are on the hunt for a new ADA accessible clinic to move the whole consolidated clinic to at the end of the year.
We will be open the following hours on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26th
This is definitely not the update we wanted to send about Jeff’s post-OAP adventures. Not long after his last day serving up needle naps at our Grand Ave clinic, Jeff was diagnosed with a brain tumor. The great news is that, after his 18 hour surgery two weeks ago, the tumor was confirmed to be benign. Even after such a marathon surgery, radiation will still be necessary in order to fully eradicate the tumor.
Jeff is now hard at work doing rehab and relearning how to do previously simple tasks and activities. Getting better is Jeff’s new full-time job and he is working very hard! I hear he’s also enjoying the nice bay view from his window, reading poetry, and listening to amazing music. Obviously, this has been, and remains, an incredibly stressful and scary time for Jeff and his family. His wife, Katy, has had to take a leave from her teaching job and Jeff will not be able to dip into his next acupuncture jobs, as planned, this summer.
Jeff’s cousin started the following Go Fund Me; all donations go directly to supporting Jeff, Katy, and their kids during Jeff’s lengthy recovery and ongoing treatment.

If you would like to share something tangible with him, like a card, or trinket, or some other goody, you can bring it to the Grand clinic and we will make a special delivery. You can also send love and all the healing vibes you can muster to Jeff over the “Woo Waves”. He’s picking up that signal and already feeling the love rolling in!
