Arash Tayebi of Kara Technologies opened the episode with a problem most people have never considered: sign language interpreters simply can’t keep pace with the volume of content the world produces. His AI avatars now translate everything from banking to emergency alerts into sign language in minutes rather than hours, because as he put it,

it’s a sad, sad comedy that sometimes the things are not accessible

Penelope Barton of Crimson Global Academy is already living this future with her own son, arguing

we will absolutely have AI driven teachers

within three to five years — though she’s quick to note the teacher’s role won’t disappear, it will shift toward guidance.

Jamie Beaton of Crimson Education took the idea further, imagining AI standing in for Ivy League professors, while sharing that OpenAI’s chief economist told him

the net effect is always job creation
