Is the EU Sleepwalking Toward Nuclear War?

On May 26th, Michael von der Schulenburg, member of the European Parliament, hosted a lecture and discussion in Berlin entitled “Is the EU Sleepwalking Toward Nuclear War?”

The event brought together academics and elected officials to discuss the threat of nuclear weapons and war in Europe. Speakers highlighted the real risks in the current state of European and German affairs and the need for policy changes to help guide the country and the continent away from nuclear danger.

Speakers included Professor Theodore Postol, Professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Ivana Nikolić Hughes, President of the Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, and Sevim Dagdelen, author, politician, and member of the German Parliament (2005-2025).
