As bombastic and rage-baiting as this post may seem, I never post anything on the internet unless it causes some kind of dot-connecting, is useful, or makes men more capable. I mean this statement, and it is important that men of faith face the facts about modern Christianity.

Nothing puts you more at risk of being sexually unsuccessful than being a devout man of faith.

Men come to the Church for various reasons. The more honest come for their spiritual needs. Some come looking for a community, while others come seeking forgiveness for past sins. There is a structure for these things to happen.

But there is also a structure for women to be absolved of their sins, just like men. Most of women’s sins are sexual, as sexuality is their primary agency. God and the Church should forgive these women, right? Just as they forgive men for their sins?

According to the Bible, yes. But that creates a major vulnerability for Christian men. That is only one of them. Let’s discuss what makes being a Christian dude more sexless than being one of his agnostic or atheist counterparts.

Have you guys ever worked at a job where, whenever an employee had a problem with a manager, she would go to the manager’s manager instead and always get what she wanted? Well, that is what being with a Christian woman is like.

Whenever your wife disagrees with you, she may simply follow your lead, but she may also look for the authority who has jurisdiction over you, which is, you guessed it, God. And who interprets God’s word? The guy in the Jesus hat.
