And if I’m not a sucker for those fresh mornings and the bursting of new life in the world, then no one is. I tell you, I’ve been cleaning up a storm and refreshing everything.

Time to clear out the cobwebs.

And what better way to do that than to curl up with a new book?

Shh, I’m not saying it’s logical, just trust me on this one.

There is never not a good time to curl up with a new book.

Because three is my fav number, I’m sharing three recent or upcoming releases I think you might enjoy snacking on.

First up, the magnificently titled The Seven Miracles of Beatrix Holland by Rachael Herron. Rachael is AMAZING, and I’m certain this book will be too. It’s been called ‘warm, witchy, and funny’ which is a vibe I’m here for.

Next up, a couple of pre-orders!

Spellcasting On is a cosy sapphic romance by my wonderful friend Andi R. Christopher, is filled with knitting and magic, and hits the stores on the 15th of September. That’s so soon! I’ve started reading this already (perks of knowing the author) and I can confirm, very cosy, very full of knitting (which is so nice right now as I don’t have a project on my needles - any suggestions?), much magic.

Finally, I want to share my lovely co-writer Isa Beaglehole’s upcoming release - Diary of an Unauthorised Vampire releases on the 29th of September: Woke up dead. Rather inconvenient – and with no paperwork, I’m now an illegal vampire who can’t hug my children without wanting to eat them. (LOL!)

Which brings me to the FINAL link of the message - we’re in dire need of advanced readers for Wolf, Let Down Your Guard. Book files will be going out around the 15th (dependent on me being a functional human being after a long weekend of festival work), so sign up HERE if you want in.

Right. I have to go to boring house stuff like cook dinner, when I’d really rather be doing just about anything else.

I hope you’re well!

Cassie
